What is Jerk?
The term Jerk comes from the word "Charqui" which is a Spanish term of Quechua origin for Jerked or Dried Meat. The word jerk spice is also now known as Jamaican spice rub. Both the spice rub and the particular cooking technique is what most people refer to as Jamaican Jerk. The technique of using pit fires or steel drums with charcoal enhances the spicy smokey flavor.

Our burger is a 7 ounce ground sirloin tip mixed with medium ground beef marinated in our jerk sauce and served with caramelized curried onions, chipotle ranch and tomato served on grilled Jamaican coco bread.
